WEEK OF FASTING AND PRAYER
From Monday, October 12th to Saturday, October 17th, 2026

Treat yourself to a special week to slow down, recharge, seek God's presence and deepen your prayer life in a calm and contemplative setting.
The proposed fast
The stay is organised around a complete fast , with the possibility of consuming: Water, Herbal teas, Coffee, Coffee with milk, Broth.
Each participant remains attentive to their physical condition and any medical constraints. Rest periods and support will be provided throughout the stay.
To promote the calm, listening and inner availability characteristic of this week of fasting and prayer, this session is offered exclusively to adults.
Typical daily schedule
Each day will follow a rhythm that promotes spiritual renewal:
- Personal prayer
- Bible reading and meditation
- Education
- Collective praise, adoration
- Time for prayer, intercession
- Time for silence and personal reflection
- Time for fraternal sharing
Regular breaks with drinks will be offered throughout the day.
Accommodation
- Full board stay adapted to fasting
- Arrival: Monday, October 12th, from 2 pm
- Departure: Saturday, October 17 at 2 p.m. after sharing a soup to end the fast.
Registration requirements
Registration is only for the entire 5-night stay on the Refuge website by clicking here, specifying the dates of October 12th to 17th, 2026.
Participation
€35 per person per day, plus an annual membership fee of €10 per family to the association Le Refuge, and a tourist tax of €1 per person per night, i.e.:
€190 per person for the entire stay

With the support of Pastor Michel Schneider , departmental delegate of the CNEF 67 (National Council of Evangelicals of France for the Bas-Rhin). He officially represents the evangelical churches and organizations of the department.
For many years, he has accompanied times of fasting and prayer, as well as biblical teachings promoting the deepening of spiritual life.
