The Refuge welcomes single people, couples and families with children and teenagers for sessions of one week and more, throughout the year.

Full board or self-catering accommodation

To ensure a truly restful stay, at the Refuge you'll enjoy full board (capacity of 70 beds). The food is prepared on-site, carefully and traditionally, to delight even the most discerning palates!

You can also rent our cottage if you wish to cook for yourself.

Bible study meetings

During the sessions, the days are punctuated by twoSpiritual meetings: in the morning at 10:45 am and in the evening at 8:30 pm.

The vigil also includes a section of songs and testimonies. Sunday worship is held on-site at 10:00 AM. Residents' attendance at the meetings is greatly appreciated, but not required. Musicians who wish to participate in leading the singing are welcome to bring their instruments.

The Refuge is open during sessions organized with guest pastors: in February and April, then from mid-June to mid-September. You will find all opening dates under the "Spiritual Meetings" tab.

The Refuge association was founded by Gilbert RINGENBACH, a pastor, and his wife Denise.

Holiday and relaxation activities

With its 5800 inhabitants and its houses in Alsatian colours, the small town of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines is pleasant.

It offers an ideal location to enjoy the activities of the Alsace plain, but also the Ballon des Vosges.  

During your holiday, leisure activities are entirely up to you. On site you will find green spaces for relaxation, a pétanque court and a games room for teenagers and children.
